A shameless plug

I would like to ask a favor of my blogging friends. I have another blogging friend, who I met about 4 years ago on a website called The Labor of Love, when she and I were both struggling with infertility. Well, after lots of patience and heartache, she's finally pregnant and expecting a little girl - all while she's in graduate school. Oh - and her hubby is in the Air Force and gone. Anyway, she's been nomiated for a really cool virtual baby shower, and the voting is going on right now. If you would please vote for her, it would be awesome!

You can read her story here

You can vote here

You can see what she will win here

Thanks so much!

I voted!! I hope she wins!! What neat prizes, too. I especially love that Euro stroller.... You have such amazing friends, Christie! It's because YOU are amazing though.... I'm so glad I've gotten to know you better. I'm sad that you guys used to live SO close, and I took that for granted. :( I love reading your posts!!

I'll post my vote. I can't imagine having to deal with that. I'm so happy for your friend.

P.S. You totally should go to the Police. You have no idea how many 80s band concerts I've been to and had loads of fun. That's what happens when your husband is 12 years older! I love to ask him about the 70s. haha.

I just voted for Rachel. I'm very excited for her. Isn't infertility a strange thing??? You just don't imagine it happening to you. And when it does, that's all you can think about and it consumes your life. I'm so glad everything is going well for her now. You are a great friend to do this for her.
