Last weekend, we took the girls to the Fort Herriman Days rodeo. They had so much fun, and loved being cowgirls.
There was also muttin' bustin' - and G rode a sheep. She was the only girl participant.
Check her out - I only wish my camera had a better zoom. Although she cried afterwards, and claimed she'll never do it again, she had a lot of fun and has told everyone she meets about it.

hey--anything with the words "muttin busting" has to be a TEN!!
too cute--did you wear wranglers?
i used to love to go to the rodeo.
good times.
Oh my - those mountains in the background of the video are stunning! You must be so proud of your daughter :) I have never been to a rodeo but it looks like a blast!
So cute. You should take them to the Lehi Rodeo, it really is the best!
Hey Christie, would you mind e-mailing me at: mistyviolet@hotmail.com? I had a question to ask you, but I don't know your e-mail and thought the information should probably not go out for all in blogworld to see. :)
I love that Herriman rodeo. In fact, I was up by the rodeo grounds TODAY and was just thinking about that. The seating is so much easier to deal with there, I think. I went to that Splash Pad today!! My kids loved it. They hated to leave!! Anyway, I loved your pictures....and I loved the mutten bustin'!! :o) Grace is just too cute.
We are going to the Riverton City one on Saturday. I LOVE RODEOS. Cute lil' cowgirls...
That expression and the way her little hands are up in the second picture is the best! That whole phrase, "A picture says a thousand words" was meant for this one. What a cutie!
G is brave! That looks like fun!
The only female rider? Awesome! I have never been to a rodeo. I am thinking maybe we should go...
LOL. That is so funny and cute!
That totally rocks! Seriously, that might be the only legal form of child abuse out there! Of course most kids love it, so is that really abuse? She is one tough chic, just like her mom!
Impressive! What a brave little girl. I was supposed to go to my first rodeo two weeks ago, but I got food poisoning instead. Bummer.
