I know I haven't been around much. My blogging has kind of ebbed and flowed - I suppose I'm ebbing right now. I have had a lot of things going on - most of them not so good. I think that has maybe dampened my desire to blog. I've been finding a lot of peace and stress reduction in my garden. And its blooming nicely right now.

Lots of lilies and daylilies:

The orange ones are my favorite. They're so striking.
I actually don't remember planing this color, but I've got lots so smaller plants with this flower. Could it be a cross pollination?
Sunny daisies thrive in my yard.

I even have 3 hydrangeas thriving in a shady spot.
Delphinium are among my favorites. With monarda and weigela in the back - I think they're stunning.
Hopefully I'll be back to regular blogging shortly.

Gorgeous! I especially love the delphinium and hydrangea (I'm partial to blue flowers).

Dang I'm totally jealous of your beautiful garden. It looks amazing. You are quite the green thumb!

I'm so jealous of your hydrangea. My MIL gave me one a few years ago which I tried to plant. but I couldn't get my soil quite deep enough (there are tree roots in that area). So half the roots are above ground. I know, LAZY. So anyway, it hasn't bloomed since that first year in its pot. I should probably try to dig it up and replant it. Seeing yours makes me think maybe I will.

Beautiful, I think it is great that your garden helps relieve stress. I think your garden would relieve my stress too, but I can't imagine having my own garden.

I'm so jealous of all your gorgeous flowers! All I can get to grow in Texas are vincas and petunias. Fortunately I've managed to keep them alive despite the 106-degree heat.

We just did Gladiolus this year and honestly I hate them. They attract certain bugs from miles around and were infected when we bought them, so I've had to pull a ton out. Plus they get so tall and skinny they lay on the ground so I have had to take special measures to hoist them back up. won't be planting them any time soon, even though they are pretty
