Maxi skirt
I've been wanting a maxi skirt for awhile - that's a fashion trend that I can wear. So, the other day when I was home with a (kinda) sick daughter, I decided to throw one out. I roughly followed this tutorial, but I kinda did my own thing too. I wanted a long skirt, with only one ruffle at the bottom - and I wanted some embellishment. Overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out. I think it would maybe look better a little tighter, so I think I'll take it in a couple of inches. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it. Just need sandal weather to officially get here, so I can wear it.

That's such a lovely color.I love maxi skirts too. Yours has turned out really well.
Yours is 100x cuter than the one in that tutorial. I love that "embellishment." How did you do it? My mom is a great seamstress and I think she'd love to do a skirt like this. I think YOU should do a tutorial on how to do that awesome ruffle on the skirt!!! pretty please???
This skirt is so adorable. I love it. I wish I was crafty like YOU. :o)
